Hieronder het bericht:

It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce that the LEPLAN GT-X 2011 was awarded with “GOLD MEDAL” and “BEST FRENCH WINE” in JAPAN Wine Challenge…

The Japan Wine Challenge was set up in 1997 as an independent wine competition, showing the wine world that Japan is a vibrant wine market to be taken seriously. During this time they have grown in scale and scope to the point where we are the most prestigious and respected wine competition in Asia. Over the last 16 years they have established a solid partnership with many of the world’s leading wine education bodies, notably the wines and spirits education trust, the Institute of Masters of Wine, Bettane & Desseauve Guide, San Francisco International Wine Competition. The Japan Wine Challenge 2013 was held in the Conrad Tokyo from 23rd to 25th July 2013. A total of almost 1,400 wines from across the world were entered, representing an increase of 10% on last year. These were judged by a panel of over 30 top wine professionals from Japan and internationally. These included Lynne Sherriff MW, David Wrigley MW, Anthony Rose, Andrew Caillard MW, Veronique Raisin, Neal Martin, Peter Nixon, as well as their counterparts from across the spectrum of Japan’s wine trade and media.

The LePlan-Vermeersch GT-X 2011 is not only a blend of the 10 best Barrels of the LePlan winery from grapes like Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Alicante, Aramon and Viognier, but also an unique blend of all our appellation’s. That’s the reason why the GT-X is finally bottled as an (Grand) Vin de France! Enjoy our Best of Best…

Gefeliciteerd Dirk, met deze prachtige overwinning.
